Bees have played a vital role as nature’s pollinators for millions of years, but in the past century, a number of bee populations have gone extinct due in part to disease and pesticides. Their dramatic decline not only threatens our harvests and livelihoods, but serves as a serious warning sign that our environmental attitude and practices must change.

To raise awareness for the plight of bees and the fragility of our ecosystems, Chantecaille created the Save the Bees Palette ($83), a refreshing eye and cheek palette, with names such as Sky, Honey, Beehive and Nectar. The compact is refillable, and 5% of proceeds from the palette will be donated to The Xerces Society to help protect bees and our environment.
